Das Thema Donald Trump ist ausufernd, wie die Mittwochsrunde bei ihrem dieswöchigen Lagebesprech feststellte. Wahlen, parteien, gesellschaftlich relevante Bürgerrechtsorganisationen, die Glaubwürdigkeit von Politikern, die Medien, der Terror, die Geschichte: Alles spielte eine Rolle und war miteinander verknüpft.

Es wird viel gegackert im politischen Hühnerstall, auch über DonaldTrump. Entgegen medialem mainstream halte ich wertende, öffentliche
Äusserungen deutscher Spitzenpolitiker über den trumpschen Stil für
kontraproduktiv. Der Gipfel der Verantwortungslosigkeit, ja des Unpro-
fessionellen, ist die Äußerung " Hassprediger " vom einzigen "Kandi-
daten" für das höchste Staatsamt, aufgebaut von so beliebten Meinungs-
unfragen. "Dicke Bretter" werden ausschließlich in persönlichen Ge-
sprächen gebohrt! Das war schon in den 70ern, 80ern des vergangenen
Jahrhunderts so.
Die SPD fühlt sich mit "Euro Maddin" im Aufwind. Fast möchte ich von
Karnevalsstimmung sprechen, Freude pur. Der Aschermittwoch folgt
vielleicht am 24. September. Das Thema Gerechtigkeit ist für diese
Partei aus meiner Sicht wie alter Wein in neuen Schläuchen. Höhere
Steuern für Reiche, Vermögenssteuer usw. führt nur zu einer staatlich
kontrollierten Umverteilung. Über eine hälftige Wiedereinführung der
Sozialabgaben für abhängig Beschäftigte hat der "Euro Maddin" sich noch
nicht geäußert! Warum wohl? Dann hätte er nichts zu verteilen, sondern
die Betroffenen selbst. Welches Maß an Eigenverantwortung!
"Gute" Politiker sind wohl jene mit kühlem, klaren Verstand, gleichwohl
um (sozialen u.a.) Ausgleich bemüht.
Lagebesprechs Wunsch und Erläuterungen nach verstärkter Teilhabe
und Teilnahme an der res publica kann ich mich anschließen. Ein-
schränkend ist festzustellen, dass eine aktive Parteimitgliedschaft die
geistige Freiheit aufgrund der geforderten Solidarität einschränkt. Aber:
Wahlteilnahme ist auch politische Willensbildung, liefert ein Ergebnis und
ist vor allen Dingen rechtsbindend. Ein Nebeneffekt: Politiker machen
manchmal ganz neue Erfahrungen mit dem Wähler. Beispielhaft seien hier
die Veränderungen in der Flüchtlingspolitik angeführt. Ob die Erfahrung aber
immer in neue Erkenntnisse mündet vermag ich natürlich nicht zu sagen.
